Howard Blas awarded prestigious Jim Joseph Foundation Fellowship

Howard Blas, who has been chosen from among hundreds of nominees to be in the very first cohort of Jim Joseph Foundation Fellows.
The Jim Joseph Foundation Fellows - Leading Educators Online is a new, prestigious,
leading-edge fellowship program, funded by the Jim Joseph Foundation in partnership with The Lookstein Center at
Bar-Ilan University. The
two-year program, facilitated by Bar Ilan and Lookstein Center faculty, involves training in both Israel and the United States.
The highlight of this program will be the launch, development and cultivation of virtual communities of educators, facilitating discussions and
long-term online collaborative group projects, valuable educational materials, discussions and resources that will impact on and enrich their own professional experiences as well as the lives of students and youth with whom they work.
Blas will use this training to continue his already impressive contributions in the fields of Jewish special education and special needs camping.”
